Petya -- Hello Justin, and thank you for attending today's interview. Would you please tell us a little bit more about yourself, who you are, what you do, and how long have you been in Young Publisher?

Justin -- First I want to uh introduce myself. My name is Justin Rey Gonzales and I'm one of the VSL video editors here at Young Publisher. And I've been with the team for almost two years now.

Petya -- What did you work before joining Young Publisher? What was your life like? How did it change after joining the company?

Justin -- I was a just a freelancer, you know. Uh didn't have permanent client, didn't work with the companies. And sometimes uh once I'm joining a team, a different team, the company weren't fully established yet. So I was really hoping that uh was a company where I could stay long-term, somewhere with growth, stability, and work-life balance, especially since I already have my own family to think about.

Petya -- Um, would you be comfortable sharing uh how old is your kid? Because you have a small son.

Justin -- Uh, my my my my little one is uh is a two-year-old baby boy. His name is Yohan and and uh I always think about them. Uh that's why I I'm I'm taking a risk to join this team even though I I know in myself that I don't have the uh uh full skill set to join this team. But but honestly at the first, at first I I bit uh I was a bit hesitant to apply. Because at that time I I had already applied to so many companies without success and I was starting to lose confidence in myself actually. But as I I clicked the button, the apply button, I I pray about it and I told myself if it's God's will for me to get accepted, then I will. If it's not, that's okay too. At least I tried. Then I got accepted. I'm I'm I'm that that's really unexpected because that time our bills are due, our rent are due. The the supplies of our little ones got got run out. And little by little I started regaining my confidence again. Honestly this is one, this was one of my answered prayers and I'm really grateful for this opportunity.

Petya -- Thank you. Thank you really for sharing that openly. And I'm glad that we also managed to show you support when you were first starting 'cause I think that's important... Oh sorry, I lost my track, I was listening to you. It's really great that you gave yourself the chance of applying without being attached to the result because you acknowledge you have your contribution in it, but not everything is dependent on you, so.

Justin -- Yes. Uh I'm just um yes I'm just taking a risk. Just just like they say, high risk high reward. That's what I'm praying for before I I'm clicking the apply button.

Petya -- And was there something that surprised you after you know you started working with Young Publisher?

Justin -- Oh um, the one that I remember is that I really, that really surprised me when I was still new here was how quickly you provided me with the tools so I could use it for my workflow. Uh I didn't expect that kind of support right away. Because back then, when I was a solo freelancer, I had to look for, I had to look for and buy my own tools and sometimes I couldn't even afford them. So when I saw that this company, Young Publisher, was really serious about setting me up to be productive, that's when I felt this company was really really different from others.

Petya -- Nice. I like that uh you and the company's goals are aligned, right? Because we are very much for efficiency when it comes to tools, internet in the sense that we don't want any technical issues to stop you from performing and to stop you from executing your talent and skills.

Justin -- Yes.

Petya -- Thank you. And um, can you share with me a moment where you felt genuinely supported by the team um or by the CEO Tim, you know.

Justin -- Um, I can't I can't forget that that moment. That moment is very uh very special for me because I remember third or second month here in this company, um you offered me a bonus for my performance even though I still had a lot of mistakes that time. That's when I really felt that you as a company or a team are are there to support me and recognize even my small wins. Like when when you gave me an extra monitor to help my workflow more productive, I still use it right now. It's uh functioning properly right now. Something that I really couldn't afford when I was still freelancing because I always, just like I said, I always prioritize my family's needs over my own.

Petya -- Thank you. Thank you really for sharing that openly. And I'm glad that yes, we also managed to show you support when you were first starting 'cause I think that's important, and especially confidence-wise because when you start work at a new company, you have to adjust so you're unsure about stuff and it's nice to have some stability. And I don't mean just financial, but just knowing that the CEO or the team supports you, so that definitely serves as a push. How um did life outside of work change after you started working with Young Publisher? What are some activities that you can now pay more attention to that you couldn't do before?

Justin -- The difference, the biggest difference for me is that uh I didn't first I didn't buy my own online courses to learn new techniques or tools because the team or the company already provided them. Compared to freelancing before where I had to figure everything out on my own. Where here I never feel like I'm facing anything alone. There's always support around me.

Petya -- That truly is great. Um, and what about hobbies or you know um things uh you love that are different from work, you know in your free time, some things that give you more energy or enthusiasm, hobbies, do you now have more time for those?

Justin -- Yes, this this team or this company is really one of the things that helped fulfill my dreams, both as an individual and as a father to my family. Because because of this company, I've been able to provide a good life for my family. And I can meet their needs without constantly worrying, just like before that our rent are due, our bills are due. The baby supplies are got run out. But now we we didn't experience that kind of thing. And I can uh and along with that, I've also had a chance to help others through giving and volunteering. And I'm grateful and I'm really grateful for this opportunity.

Petya -- Oh that I love that, volunteering and giving back to the community, right?

Justin -- Yes.

Petya -- That's very noble of you. That's very kind actually. I'm glad that uh once you feel a bit more supported and more stable, you're also willing to help others. And uh I think that's valuable.

Justin -- Yes. It's it's the uh teamwork uh at the end of the day it's uh it's the part at least a teamwork.

Petya -- Agree, agree. Thank you for helping with that really. And um also I would like to ask you, how have you grown since joining Young Publisher as a video editor in terms of your skills, confidence, anything that comes to mind.

Justin -- Uh during my first month at Young Publisher, I think uh I remember that I made a lot of mistakes because I wasn't familiar yet with the system and the edit editing style here. But as time went on, I slowly picked it up and I learned a lot, especially in using AI tools. Back when I back when AI was still fairly new. I also didn't need to buy my own online courses, as I said earlier, to learn new techniques or tools because the company already provided them. So throughout my journey as a VSL video editor, the things I couldn't do before is I can do now. From basic skills all the way to professional level skills. Uh now I'm almost two years in, and I could feel your trust, the company's trust in me. And if it's okay if I share some some another grateful moment for me?

Petya -- Yes.

Justin -- Uh recently I was even assigned to train another VSL editor and honestly that responsibility felt overwhelming for me. But in a positive way. Because I realized I actually could teach others what I had learned before, even though I'm an introvert. I'm I'm really grateful for this company and I'm doing my best to take care of this role because I haven't found another company like Young Publisher with such amazing people.

Petya -- Thank you Justin. And also thank you for taking on the responsibility of training another video editor because you know we wouldn't ask this of you if we didn't see results and the capabilities.

Justin -- Yes, and that's why I'm grateful and thank you for keep trusting me even though I keep making mistakes sometimes.

Petya -- We all make mistakes. As long as we're understanding and you know we're aligned, we have a good intention and we keep putting in the consistency then it's all good. And also I have spoken with the two other video editors and they're really happy that you guys are collaborating. And they've told me, "Oh it's so nice to have a team and if I ask a question they give me an answer, but they give me more than the answer, they actually give me additional information, so I feel supported." And it felt really great because I know that working online uh whether as a freelancer or for a company sometimes can get a bit lonely. So the other video editors they were really happy that they can reach out and feel like they have a team. And it made me feel happy as well. I very much think that communities are important, just like your church community or you know the neighborhood community that takes care for the cleanliness and stuff like that.

Justin -- Yes. It's it's the uh teamwork uh at the end of the day it's uh it's the part at least the teamwork.

Petya -- Agree, agree. Thank you for helping with that really. And uh last but not least, if someone would ask you, like a friend or family member, what's it like to work at Young Publisher, would you recommend it? And what do they need to start working in Young Publisher as a mindset or skills? What what would you tell them?

Justin -- Um if someone asked me that question, I'd say it's not just a job here. It's really like it really feels like a family for me. You won't be at first you won't be neglected. There are people who support you even in your small wins. And you're given given a room to grow. Not just in skills but in confidence as a person. So if someone asked me that that what's really what it's really like working at Young Publisher, I would say that. And and uh and I would say to them that if you have the right skills, right right skill set, and especially the attitude and you're willing to learn, I'm sure you have a great experience here too.

Petya -- Thank you Justin. I really appreciate your time, uh your honesty and authenticity, and your continuous efforts of course. So thank you so much.

Justin -- Thank you so much.

Petya -- I wish you luck in your present and future endeavors with Young Publisher, many more wins to celebrate, and speak with you soon.

Justin -- Yes, thank you and have a great day.

Petya -- Have a great day ahead.
